2022 Future of Work Academy (FOWA) Pre-Registration – Virtual Conference

The purpose of the Future of Work Academy (FOWA) is to create awareness and generate interest amongst HBCU students about future of work trends, showcasing and Investing in students’ minds & talent with technology.​ ​We seek to crowdsource problem solving ​into the age of digital transformation. ​

FOWA is the student track at the HBCU Technology Conference happening September 13 – 16 and is compressed of three core components: Career Accelerator, Interactive Symposium and Innovation Incubators.

  • Career Accelerator begins with a pre-conference application window that culminates in dedicated internship & fulltime interview times at each participating company’s student booth in the conference virtual exhibit hall. It is open to HBCU students participating in the Interactive Symposium or Innovation Incubator.
  • Interactive Symposium is a two-day workshop series focused on career readiness skills and future-ready skills needed for employment. The workshops will be hosted by industry experts and HBCU faculty.
  • Innovation Incubators is a two-day competition event. There are four Innovation Incubators formed around four different career paths and skills. HBCU student will be working alongside HP executives and partners on activities that solve real business challenges. Each incubator has a pre-conference learning journey and fabulous prizes for winning team.
