The physical rehabilitation aide scholar will assist with the everyday functions of Church Health’s Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation clinic, both clinical and administrative. They will perform designated and supervised routine therapy tasks, as trained by and under the direction of licensed therapists. Examples of this may include taking vitals, assisting the therapist with treatment sessions, and cleaning and prepping treatment areas. Other duties may include scheduling patient appointments, assisting with quality improvement projects, and helping patients with paperwork. People interested in this position are typically interested in: medical school, public health, physical therapy, occupational therapy.

- Immediate supervisor sessions occur monthly for feedback on performance.
- 2 mentor sessions with our CEO, Dr. Morris, are mandatory for every Scholar which serves as vocational guidance.
- 2 spiritual care sessions with our Spiritual Care Director are mandatory for every Scholar which serves as mental and spiritual check-ins.
This position is onsite. Can be expected to work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
