Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join the 2023 HBCU Freshman Summer Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.
Freshman Summer Experience participants will be paired with a senior leader for the summer in a structured job shadow internship, which will include:
- Exposure to a broad array of businesses and functions across CIB
- Networking with current members of the early talent programs and learning about day-to-day responsibilities
- Dedicated career coaching and mentoring
- Interaction with summer cohort on projects and presentations

Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Summer Experience participants must demonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills and personal motivation. It is preferred that your background includes:
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Demonstrated interest in finance and the financial markets
- Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, and proactive
- An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
Program Duration: Summer 2023 (5 weeks)
