Verizon x HBCU Pre-Law Internship 2023

Verizon Communications Inc. (“Verizon”) and Greenberg Traurig LLP (“Greenberg Traurig”) are seeking two Scholars for their paid summer 2023 Verizon/Greenberg Traurig HBCU Pre-Law Internship Program.  Eligible candidates must be a current Junior or Senior enrolled full-time, and in good academic standing, at one of the U.S. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Candidates must also be planning to apply to law school within one year after graduation from the HBCU they are currently attending.  

What you’ll be doing . . .  

This program will introduce you to the complex nature of in-house legal practice at Verizon along with access to the variety of practice areas and innovative client strategies of Greenberg Traurig, a major international law firm. During this 10-week internship program, you will begin your summer at Verizon’s corporate offices in Alpharetta, Georgia and spend your last five weeks at Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta, GA office. Right from the start, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects in Verizon’s in-house legal department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas at Greenberg Traurig. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the best attorneys in the legal field. What you learn during this internship will help you grow both professionally and personally. 

After the internship is successfully completed, you will have mentors who can help you navigate your legal career from the start and you’ll become part of Verizon’s Intern Alumni Network, with benefits such as exposure to top law firms and inclusion in our annual alumni events.
