Call for Applications for Georgetown University Security Studies Institute for HBCU Students

The Summer Institute will be held on Georgetown University’s main campus in Washington, D.C., from June 9 – 15, 2024. The program is intended to help expand the diversity of perspectives and ideas in the national security field by increasing awareness of and access to graduate education and career opportunities in security-related fields. The goal is to spark interest among HBCU students in broad-ranging security topics such as U.S. national security policy, international security, intelligence, terrorism and substate violence, and technology. The program is free to students and includes housing and meals on campus, all travel to and from Washington, D.C., and a $600 stipend for the week.

Applications are due by January 31, 2024.
