We are looking for candidates for internships in our Singapore office (summer, fall and spring seasons).
About our Singapore Team
Warburg’s Singapore office comprises 22 investing professionals focusing on growth private equity investments in the Real Estate, Technology, Financial Services and Industrial sectors. The team covers investments across Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Korea and Singapore. Fluency in a Southeast Asian language is preferred but not required. The investing team also works closely with our investing professionals in our Mumbai, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong offices on various investments across the Asia-Pacific region.
The Singapore Real Estate team at Warburg Pincus is a dynamic group of professionals focusing on real estate investments across the Asia-Pacific region. The team has a strong record of investing in and building high-quality real estate companies in emerging and developed markets. Our approach is characterized by thorough market research, rigorous due diligence, and close collaboration with management teams to create value and realize growth potential.

Position Overview
The Investment Analyst Intern role supports an investing deal team in identifying, analyzing, and underwriting principal investments in companies. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with conducting in-depth competitor and industry research
- Aiding with business due diligence and supporting the formulation of investment recommendations
- Helping with the creation of investment summaries and preparing financial models for potential investments
- Supporting the process of structuring, drafting, and negotiating equity investment and debt financing terms and transaction documentation
- Supporting the daily activities of senior investment professionals, which involves a variety of activities, including the management of third-party advisors such as business consultants, lawyers, and tax advisors, as well as monitoring portfolio companies and attending group meetings
Qualifications
- Open to 3rd year or 4th year undergraduate students and graduate students
- Near native / highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Native fluency in one of: Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, or Filipino (verbal, reading & writing) is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience living in Asia and with a plan to be based in Asia post-graduation
- Prior internship in Investment Banking or Private Equity
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis
- Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Superior oral and written communication
- Prior experience in Real Estate is a plus.
