Brijae Harper, C’2020, is an analyst at Scott Madden, an energy consulting firm in Atlanta, Ga. During her time at Spelman, she studied economics and interned for several highly-regarded companies, including Honda, Coca-Cola, and the Intercontinental Hotels Group. Her numerous internships aided in growing the skills and confidence needed to become a well-rounded professional in the corporate world.
Harper never imagined having a career in consulting, but when the opportunity presented itself, she seized the moment, not realizing how it would change her life for the better. Becoming a consultant has changed her outlook on corporate spaces and given her a newfound appreciation for the industry.
She is highly engaged at Scott Madden and currently serves as a new hire onboarding ambassador. She is also a member of the firm’s recruiting and onboarding pillars of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative. Harper loves fashion and has gained an increased interest in it during the pandemic. She expresses that love through her newly-created YouTube channel, So Breezy. On her channel, she shares affordable fashion tips and lifestyle-related content.
